Here is a picture that I did of Elh Melizee from the Nintendo DS game "Solatorobo: Red The Hunter" in my original cartoon style. After being able to play this game on my Nintendo DS not too long ago, I was in the mood for working on a small set of pictures involving some of the characters that I decided to draw in my original cartoon style. Elh is a female Felineko (humanoid cat) who happens to be one of the last members of an ancient clan known as the Paladins, who are charged with performing a ritual called 'The Rite Of Forfeit", which is used to prevent the legendary beast called Lares from trying to destroy the world. At the beginning of the story, she somehow ended up on an airship that caught on fire, where Red and Chocolat were able to find her as well as a mysterious medallion, which they were able to take onboard the Asmodeus. When Red and Chocolat first meet Elh, they actually though she was a boy because of her being dressed up like one, but after Red ended up walking into the bathroom while Elh was taking a shower (Don't worry; she actually has a towel on), that's how they were able to find out she was a girl the whole time; Elh's fear of bugs also revealed that she was a girl before Red's 'awkward moment' took place. Even though she appears to be the same age as Chocolat, Elh is actually revealed to be over 300 years old despite her childlike appearance. She's able to tag along with the heroes as they set out on an adventure to save the world from destruction, and she also becomes a really close friend to Red during the events of the game. As I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a purple paw pattern for the background. The picture turned out really nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.
