As for the zangoose, she was trained by her adoptive father, a far'fetch in the art of leek swordsmanship. She still uses only cutting techniques that her species can use, except with a leek sword rather than her claws.

Well, quite a lot of people are doing it so I figured since I draw pokeymans so much, might as well join in. XD
In regards to why the zangoose has a leek, lets just say that her adoptive father taught her how to use them. :3

why she using a leek? dose she have moves of a farfetch?

Zangoose innately learns many slashing and claw moves. Her adoptive dad has taught her how to use those abilities with a longer ranged weapon. :3

My idea of a bruiser mainly trades blows and needs to have a strong chin. My idea of a striker tries to hit from a longer distance to avoid attacks.

that is so damn cool, BTW a random idea i had, someone should do a comic about a fighting tournament set in the pokemon mystery dungeon world (so no whiny trainers) with only fighting types or those with a fighting subtype, (to fit the theme). there are so many fighting tournaments in anime to pay tribute to or do a pisstake of... well i can't do any of that but someone should.
