Olympiads: Faster, Higher, Stronger is my student thesis film that I made during my fourth year at Sheridan College. So far it has been screened only a few times for industry professionals, where it received a positive response and recieved a couple of awards. It was a big project about a year in the making, and it has been one heck of a ride. This is definitely one of the biggest projects I have ever taken on, and looking back Im pretty amazed that I managed to get it all done. When I first started this my goal was to keep it under 1 minute and 40 seconds, because I felt that anything longer would be too much to handle. That quickly spiralled out of control into the 2 minutes and 40 second video that exists today. it was definitely stressful as for a while I was worried I wouldn't get it done. There was a lot of animation and a lot of render heavy elements such as fur and grass (the whole film took a month just to render).
Anyway, I hope you all like it. If you have any questions please feel free to let me know, I'll probably be posting some videos showing the process at some point (i.e. initial storyboards, shot progression, etc.).

Thanks, I kind of leave it up to the audience as to just how injured the two of them are. For me personally I was so tired of animating them by the end of this that I chose to believe that they both died. But now tat it's done I think I can safely say they survived but now have some serious bruised egos. Asterion managed to lift the column over himself once I'm sure he can do it again.
Holy crap! I've seen so much of your WIPs I didn't realize it was DONE (or maybe I've been out of it this year. Yeah...)
It's awesome! Great sense of timing. I especially liked Polyphemus' facepalm (one-eyed...that's different XD) and flicking the vase over. Medusa's 100% deadpaness was great too. I didn't realize Aristol was going to be a bit of a jock-douche too, so the ending was totally deserved.
I don't think I need to say I liked Nikomachos XD Great voice actor. And this was the first time I saw the fur texture difference between his neck and head, I liked the effect--worked better than I've seen in a lot of studio 3D animated films I've seen all over Netflix.
Now I have to admit the javelin wound was a bit...jarring given how comedic the rest was @.@
Fun! Gonna make a sequel? XD *ducks*
Congrats on all the recognition of it :-D

Thanks, it was definitely a fun ride, and it was great to be recognized for it.
No sequel has been planned, and I don't think there ever will. Maybe years down the line I'll reboot the concept, but as of now I've grown a bit tired of these guys. Maybe it was the frustrating moments that made it so easy for me to crush and impale them.
Anyway, I'm glad you liked it, and I'm sure Patrick would be happy to know you liked his voice acting.
