Hi again, Rourkie, it was a surprise to open the main page and see you back - especially as I'd just mentioned you in a tab submission of that song I pointed you to months ago[/b] :) Your vocals are actually really good - often vocal tracks on FA seem to be recipes for disaster, but you stay in tune throughout and it seems to sit well with the music, not feeling like it's just been slapped on top of it.

This is a really cool and interesting take on the song, and you did a great job of transcribing it. The only thing it lacks is some of the punch and pulse of the original, but otherwise, great job!

Hehe, thanks! I'm still learning the limitations of this new version (there are a lot of differences from 2003, the previous version I owned (read: bootlegged). The tempo is a little too slow, but I didn't realize that until way too late into recording the vocals. I'm glad you dig it, though. = )

TMBG were once on... I wanna say the Johnny Carson show... well, something like that, and they performed this with the big ol' band (not sure if it was the show's or a jazz orchestra brought in)... Hrm, it was a long time ago, and I think they showed bits of it in Gigantic... Anyway, It sounded amazing. That's almost what this reminds me of, but on a grander scale.

This is so very regal, but very fitting. It might not have the punch of the original, but what orchestra moves as fast as a rock band? I like it a lot.

TMBG should seriously do a concert or two with an orchestra, if it could keep up. o.o
