Finished just in time for Game of Con Chairs this past weekend!
Spent about 70 hours total
Spitfire's head alone lost .8 pounds!! The previous head was 3.8lbs. I think
a lot of the weight is due to the lenticular lenses in her ears which are well worth it.
She is super comfortable and the fan works very well in the muzzle; I was a bit
worried it would dry out my eyes but I haven't had any problems so far!
The only problem I have at the moment are the eyes. The glow in the dark paint has impaired my vision quite a bit so I may end up having to redo them x_x
All in all i am VERY happy with her new look and feel! =D

in my first head i used a really large fan hooked up to 8 AA batteries x_x it was quite loud.
in this one i used a smaller one. Its just a 12VDC Micro fan from radioshack and I just hook it up to a 9V.
It doesn't last as long but it works pretty well and its not noticeable unless someone has their ear up against your head =P

ahh ok. I used a computer fan from radioshack as well but I guess I'm just paranoid that others could hear it XP
I'll try those specifications and see if that's any different ^^
Btw, I forgot to say how much I love this suit! I saw you at AAC and was amazed by the colors! (yep, the weird non-stop phototaker hanging awkwardly around the furries there XD)

she pointed out one of my MLP pins I think and we were talking about all our favorite
