This is one of those sketches I occasionally run across in my files, laugh a little, then forget about again. I think it was a finals week sketch, or some time around there. I'm going to upload it while I'm thinking of it. There is no excuse for this behavior, I'm sure he knows how to use couches because I'm sure they have things like this where he comes from, he's just being Shadowfire. Having spent absurd lengths of time alone over the course of his life, his grasp of social norms is... maybe a little bit off.
The shoulder/upper arm anatomy has varied so much on these things in the years I've been drawing them. I still don't feel it's completely where I want it. But I can see a definitely less human-influenced version here than what I have been doing; I'd kind of like to see if I can work that back in now. They are supposed to be able to function both bipedally and quadrupedally after all.
