Yay! My three Axolotl-babies are old enough to come to my home finally! ^_^ The breeder, a very good friend of mine sent me this foto recently. Aren't they beuts? All cuddly and smiling!
I'm so happy.
Now I need to find proper names for them together with my mate :tybalt_the_friesian:
I am all excited, I never had an aquarium before. I am totally fond of them babies! Axolotl art ahead!

hehe. they eat all fish that are small enough to fit into their mouth, the other fish that are bigger eat them in reverse. They aren't social with fish... but they also eat their own litter if it only fits into their mouths. ^^; amphibians aren't too bright at all, but fun to watch!
That's just awesomeness on a stick. Was just browsing the new uploads and now i'm glad I did - Axolotls are so darling and just plain awesome. I didn't even know that one could keep them as pets, so to speak. Best wishes to you and your cute little babies, may they grow into mighty, strong Axolotls... Axolotles... Axolotli... whatever the plural form of Axolotl is.
hehe, thank you! I am from Germany and the plural form of Axolotl is simply Axolotl in German! Perhaps it's different in english. They are easy as pets, really! So I've been told, much easier than fish. I'll see and hopefully I can update plenty of cool fotos and lotl art work, soon.
Those are Axolotl, they are amphibian creatures who never leave the water. They come from mexico somewhere and are a bit like newts. Find more information about them here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axolotl
they eat up plenty much everything which fits in their mouths. ;) But they have 10cm now and they are all from the same litter and have grown in an equal amount, each one of them. So they won't get on each other anymore. but thanks for the warning! _My breeder is a good freind and very nice and has a lot of knowledge. she has bred a few times now with their own Axolotl and it all went good on each occasion.
