I hate taxidermy. it's like, ew.

Taxidermy can be creepy, my grandpa has a bear cape and it's the only piece I approve of because a bear CAN defend itself and Grandpapa shot it with a revolver to protect my grandma and aunt.

Well if it was for protection, it's something else.
I don't actually like taxidermy no matter what, but what I absolutely hate is when people take a life just to decorate their own damn house

Thanks, I went hunting once but I brought a few rounds that where illegal because I don't like two things of hunting, Running after what I shot, and having to hear it cry as the bullet wasn't strong enough. So I brought heavier, softer bullets to kill the deer then and there.

i only understand hunting for food. and fairly. the long distance runners in africa respect the animal they actually run after for miles to catch and then do like a praise of effort the animal put up. true men only using a spear and their ability to run. only hunters i respect

I mean,, one thing is killing for survival, another thing is killing to decorate your house or brag about it to your friends...

I feel you. Sport hunting is one of the most disgusting and barbaric things one can do. Now, I'm not too against killing for food to live (predation is commonplace in nature, after all), but there is a massive difference in killing to survive and killing for pride.

Nono killing for food is totally fine, it's about survival.
But killing for fun/taxidermy or other bullshit like that is something I will always disgust

Do you eat meat? If so, do you ask any questions about where that meat comes from? Hunting is literally merciful compared to how factory farms treat cows, hogs, chickens, etc.

If hunting spooks you that much, a quick google search about CAFO's, laying hen operations, and hog tail docking might put you off from ever going near a grocery store's butcher counter again. It sure makes me go out of my way to find local farms as opposed to buying factory farm meat.

Though...if you're a vegetarian, forget I said that. XD

Yes I am fully aware that I eat meat which comes from killing animals, but I never said I was against that.
There's a whole different thing to kill for food/survival and killing for fun.

Mate. I totally agree and I have been very upset for years regarding the slaughter/massacre of innocent creatures in particular deer. I love my meat but due to the thousands of slaughtered and innocent deaths of countless deer over the centuries and the fact that when searching deer on google you cant go through a page thats not about hunting/killing/death of deer i now do not eat venison. Yeah i have hunted before and killed a few roos and sheep and other animals for food and survival skills, and i still will, and i am not looking for approval on my opinions/feelings but i do feel almost protective to the cervine species due to peoples apparent lack of care to the deers wellbeing and its as if people think that the life of an animal is almost insignificant. When i kill i make sure i use most if not all of an animal out of respect for the life it gave so i could live.
