Yup, knew that. It's because male collies grow fuller coats. ^_^ The first Lassie was actually originally the stunt dog, named Pal. They hadn't originally wanted Lassie to have a wide blaze, but Pal performed a swimming stunt then pulled himself onto the bank and lay down in such a perfect pose of exhaustion that the director said, "Why aren't we starring THIS dog?"

Very lovely young lady you have there Terrie, I think she is wonderful. I have a soft spot for collies, maybe it's the fact my first to dogs were collies.
