Mine's the same colour as the one Clarkson had. Same engine too.

Its one of the cars that has simply a style thats cool . Not so sure how good they holding together over the years .

IMO they look better when they're effortless.
Having them immaculate, like showroom condition, or anything more than slightly modified, they just look like they're trying to be cool, which isn't cool at all.

Sadly I just sold my 74 Firebird. Was a good year for the Camaros/Firebirds. Had a 350 block with a TH350 trans. Damn good ride. I know some of the Firebirds and Camaros of this newer gen also had 350 block setups, but were all electric. Would love to have one.

im helping out this girl with her 70s firebird. she got it as a shell from her son. so it had the 400 or something like that in it so she rebuilt a 350 for it. every thing was on the opposite side and she didnt know were all the wires ran. yah. i like electronic injection but carb i think makes more power for a poor back yard mechanic. i only have the v6 in it but i like the gas savings.

Not to mention carb'd engines are usually a hell of a lot cheaper to maintain and repair. Not to mention are ten times simpler.
