Came across this in my travels today. This is a drawing room coach once jointly owned by the L&N and the Pennsylvania Railroad for use on trains that interchanged between the two. It was built to Pennsylvania specs and painted PRR colors but was lettered for the L&N. After its time on AMTRAK it was given to a museum in Versailles, KY who let it rot and it looks like the end of line came today.

I volunteer for this museum, this car was in decrepit state. Unfortunately, and I stress deeply it is a loss of history I know that full well. This was the only outcome for a car in the condition they received her in. From the information I have, her back (main structure) was busted on arrival. This was sadly the only fate she could have. :/. The museum currently isnt big enough to store anything near by, and there isnt enough money either.
