Story:
Off in the distance, far away, lay the lilac forest. Rare creatures live there, both fascinating and frightening. None, however, as fascinating as the Mare of the Mist.
When the mist rolls in and the forest seems to glow, travelers begin to see things stir. Forms begin moving, and thunder is heard. And that is when you will see her. Her snow white coat and golden mane will flash from the corner of your eye, and then she is gone.
No one has actually met her, but they say when ever she is spotted they also see the shapes of other horses in the mist beyond.

The mystery surrounding her is what makes this unicorn so fascinating. Sightings of her have been reported since the forest was first explored many hundreds of years ago. Some say she is the guardian of the forest. Others believe that the forms of the herd are actually lost souls she is guiding to the next world. No one knows, so the mystery remains.
