OLD SHIT
2003 - 2004Part of a collection of old tracks from way-back, before I knew where I wanted to go with my work.
Reflected was my entry to MadTracker's then-annual competition for 2004. We couldn't use VST plug-ins, but we were encouraged to make samples out of VST Instruments and use them in our work.
Absynth 2 was the source of the pads, and General MIDI brought in the Rhodes.
The track somehow managed to score 3rd place. Pleasant little surprise, that!

This song needs a movie. That movie should be about a boy who gets a dog, and him and his dog spend a bunch of time together, and then his older brother, which isn't so important to the plot, gets killed in Vietnam, and everyone's sad, but the dog does something cute and cheers them all up. Then they eat dinner, even the dog does, too, and it's all better. William Daniels will play the part of the old guy who always wears tweed.
