These monsterous birds resemble giant chickens with a hatchet blade on their necks and are native on Binnoc's home planet and are known to live in wooded areas and forests and will attack without provocation anything that cross their paths and are highly territorial. They are used as food in many realms and the blade, which is actually very hard bone, is used to craft weapons. These monster birds favorite foods are usually smaller monsters, but will eat just about anything that appears edible to the birds. Contrary to their name, the blade is actually on ther chests and not on their necks.
