How many times have I been in that sort of situation, where I've been given an option to do something but chickened out, or picked the polite option because the other option just seems too embarrassing to entertain. You missed an opportunity there Star and you're already kicking yourself for it.

This is too adorable! One time when I was visiting family and I had to go on this parade float with my cousins (the second cousins were four toddlers and the cousin was the mom) and all the little kids got juices and she got me a diet coke hahaha. In my head I was like "aww man."
LAFFIN!!! I get the opposite. when im out with friends who have kids and say the kids get a happy meal, I get to have one too, or the kids get given straws to go in their drinks and im always given a straw too. Luckily whilst some of my friends dont know im AB, they do know i'm very kiddy hehe
Yeah Found and Shine aren't really comparable as Found is more sci-fi fantasy sorta wierdness going on, whereas Shine here is probably more relatable as it's actally based in reality...well not reality as such but it's plausible that it could happen so its more relatable. perhaps? Anyway i'm glad you're enjoying them both :)
So many scenes in "found" I can relate to, because. in many ways I act sililiar to gemma. and her past. having came out of, a bad relationship.

Luring is quite the cutie. I'll have to tease him later ^^. And I can believe Star's reaction, it's pretty typical for someone who suddenly has something just thrust out to them. Give a person a wish, and I'm pretty sure they'd be tripping all over themselves trying to figure out the answer they'd go with :3

haha this is wonderful! I know things would be awkward in this scenario, and i would be blushing like crazy, but i would probably say " would you be offended if i were to umm.. ask for juice?"

Animated Grimlock <3
Speaking as a transformers fan, I salute your attention to detail and however the heck long it took you to not only draw him, but drawing him MID-TRANSFORMATION
Definitely one of my fave Grimlock toys and has pride and place on my shelf =B Can understand why he enjoys playing with him!

LOL I actually managed to find the transformation instruction manual online so I used that to study and tried to replicate. Im not very good with mech stuff and well..I have a know history for accidentally breaking transformers when I try to make them go in positions theyre not supposed to go and then bits come off.
Luckily, they're built these days just for that purpose with ball joints and bits that click right back in, they're made to pop off if too much force is applied so that it doesn't ACTUALLY snap and hurt someone =B
Easily fixed! Although the newer toys coming out have all been simplified, so I'm curious to see if they're easier for kids and still as enjoyable

ayeee i like this ^^ iv read all the comic so far! i understand how star feels O.o sorta trying to work it out myself XD the art work and storytelling is stunning ^^ keep up the amazing work! .. kiffy calls me kitten XD it does make you squerm and eee inside while try to hide it XD lol. i cant wait to read the rest!
I haven't commented on any of your work in some time, but I've been following it and admiring it for some time. I don't have much to say that hasn't already been said, except, I would like to say that... you are a frickin machine when it comes to producing these pages! It seems to be caused by your enthusiasm, which it great, but just the same; I remember when I was doing my comic back in the day. I was lucky to finish one page a week. And here you are doing at least one per week, with far better color work than I ever did.
Anyway, without gushing too much more, I'm a big fan and, as a fellow artist, I'm very impressed with the level of frequency and quality of your work! Just thought I should say so, and probly should have a long time ago.

*blushing lots* I'm probably as bad for not commenting on peoples stuff. I remember seeing your stuff on FTT and DA and I always kinda think of you as one of the founders to my interests in drawing AB/DL artwork in the first place(alongside people like tetarga (teca) and Moorph and carrotte, just to name a couple who really spring to mind as the first artowrk of this nature that I came across and then wanted to create myself) I didnt realise you followed my stuff as much though so it never really occured to me to say anything. But thank you heaps. I'm really blushing here.
Hehe, well I kinda feel the same way. I'm impressed and happy for your popularity (I'd also being lying if I said I wasn't a bit jealous), but you absolutely deserve it! I've watched you for the last 3 or so years and you're skills have improved by leaps and bounds. I wish I'd had more guts to talk to you sooner so that we might be good friends by now. Not that we can't now, of course. In fact, I met Fiona at FurCon earlier this year and she was just the friendliest anyone could be! We only hung out for about 4 or 5 hours until I had to go home, but I think she gave me at least one hug per hour! Also, I'm super flattered that I might have had even the slightest influence on you drawing. I never considered myself to be a big deal.

I want there to be a compilation of manda's facail expressions throughout this comic when it is finished cause i swear every time you draw her she looks more and more devious XD i can literally hear her saying in her head "oooooh and another plan for the kitten >:3" I am so so so so soooooooooo loving this comic star ^^ keep up the amazing work!
See this is the problem ive been having. I draw the comic and new ideas turn up and then I cant sleep LOL. My head is sooo smooshed full of ideas with this comic at the moment that its driving me mad LOL!!!
I love Gem, about how clueless and innocent and naive she is. But i love star too as, like you say...shes submitting herself to these situations willingly but just as unsure and vulnerable as Gem is in that aspect, yet with adult capabilities and thought processes. Its certainly proving fun to play out

That made me laugh so much in real life. I even just read this out to my husband LOL. It's true. Stars ears tend to often be portrayed sorta splayed out or folded backwards. In fact when I drew the panel with her spotting luring and her ears perks up face forward I actually thought to myself...thats actually got to be one of the first times i've really drawn her ears like that, even though thats probably should be close to her default setting.
I really try to use the ears to enforce the expressions she has, in much the same way I watch my cats or my friends dog use their ears to show their emotions, I would imagine having ears that could be expressive would be very very awesome

One thing, comparing the beginnings of "Found" to this comic, I can say with certainty, is that these projects of yours have really moved you forward in your artistic ability. You are great at facial expressions and conveying emotion, especially in this panel, the previous two (with the tongue piercing), and the last couple of "Found" comics. It brings a sense of completeness to the whole comic in general. Again, words and pictures on a page make a comic book. I good one can draw the reader in and help them feel the same kinds of emotions as the characters.
Also, the last panel is an inner conflict I think most of us interested in this comic have dealt with in one form or another. I know I have. As for hitting home with me, being a Service Member and AB/DL, those two lifestyles do not mix in any way, shape, or form. I can kind of relate to Star on an almost personal level, which is rare. My main aim of this comic I guess is to get a little too close to the bone with some of the aspects of the AB/DL lifestyle that I've personally experienced, feelings i've felt, and that inner conflict that, like you said, we've all harbored at one point or another. I think some of this comic is going to make for uncomfortable reading for some people but I just wanted to kinda convey that soe of us have been there, done that and lived to tell the tale LOL
this is a very adorable scene star. Love how you have that little "war" inside your head going and your "common sense" side won out this time so as to err on the side of caution. maybe were going to see Manda and Star TALK about what it means to do what Lure is doing before Star commits. this also made me want to wash the bottle I have annd fill it with nummy juice or milk for when i go to take my nap after i do the dishes :)
I LOVE Manda's dialog and expressions and just the gernal "tone" you've drawn her in all your pages so far. She's always standing there smiling like she's already three steps ahead of Star. She knows, and she knows Star knows she knows, and she's having a blast with that :3 hehe

Immediately I notice how Manda stands between Star and the door. Not so much to physically stop her from running out, but it seems to emphasize "Yes, you are here now, and you are inside" in a subtle way. Good call.
And her expression seems to match, even though it seems primarily directed at Luring. Expressions have a funny way of carrying multiple thoughts.

How many of us have been where Star is at right now and did what she's done? This comic takes me back a long way. Sure we're all a little disappointed that she couldn't bring herself to order the juice, but honestly, I'm just proud of her for having the courage to walk through the door.

Why is it so embarrassing for Lure?
I get surprise or momentary shock, but Star has already seen Lure being a big baby out in public and even came face to face with him. So its not major news or an unknown. That seems to me like when I'd be truly embarrassed by a surprise visit.

I think (and this is how I would personally feel so I projected that onto Lure but I may have gotten what his reaction would be as wrong) but....
Out in public its a very detatched place to be. You dont have any personal connection to your surroundings.
For Star to suddenly be inside his house, when he wasn't expecting visitors and he doesn't even know Star. So she has just intruded into his personal space where he was probably feeling very relaxed and allowing himself to be vulnerable. Yet she's just kinda stomped all over that, unintentionally of course. So he's feeling suddenly caught out but on a much more personal level.
That's how I would feel in a random stranger barged into my living room catching me indulging in a fetish anyway LOL

Thank you so much. I can totally get that. I've just had so little opportunity to interact as I was met with much the same thing as you portrayed a few pages ago when I visited ABDL sites that I've never gone back just sat on the sidelines enjoying good content like yours. But I can fully relate to personal space and being more vulnerable there.
Im sorry you had a negative experience at the ABDL sites, they can be very...errrr..fetish orientated and quite also quite often bring the worst out in people. But I can assure you that actually there are some really nice people out in this big wide world of ours and that if you just persevere you'll probably make some really good friends in this little ageplay world

i have been in such a similar case but was sippy cups bein offered with the expectation that if not using one that you wont spill; and a friend i later found out is also a little was used as an example of someone who always needs a lidded cup in her house.
