Thanks a lot! It was mostly based on a photo reference given to me by the director - basically wanted an adorable four-legged version of a sea slug, hehe. So the colours are actually based on the original animal's colours :)

YES, thank you! I wasn't sure where the director got the reference photo from, but she gave me this: http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2.....-horns-714.jpg and basically told me to turn it into an adorable four-legged guy :b

It's an amazing design, like a slug/fungus/mole. Very unique and interesting.

Heh, thanks a lot :) To be honest, it's actually based really closely on a photo reference of a nudibranch that the director gave me - basically said, "Turn this into an adorable four-legged critter!"

*chuckles* I believe he's a mind-controller/charm/hypnotize-type creature. Probably weak himself, but can trick/convince other creatures to protect it or fight on its behalf ;)
