Sollnettian Power, or Mechanized Armor.

Facts!

- Mechanized Armor need energy cells to function. On maximum load, one cell will run suit of armor for 3-4 hours.
- Chem air filtering
- Night/thermal vision
- Made of the same material as sollnettian ship plating
- Combined carapace (chest/back, limbs, helm)/plate mail (flexible parts protection, notably abdominal area and gloves)
- Versatile plates protect crotch area
- Extra armor plate on arms to cover inner elbow and chest when firing
- Shoulder pads covered with shoulder plates, to cover actuators/stabilizers
- MA is made for extra protection and stability when using specialized firearms or cqc in confined space (i.e. spaceships boarding actions). It does not make you able to throw cars around.
- CQC version has heavier and bulkier shoulder plates and neck collar for improved tackling
- More lightweight than Terran Motorized Armor, but much heavier than Earth Federation Muscle Augmentation Suit.
- As most other types of PA, does not protect from low/zero pressure, since it does not have pressurized interior.
- As most other types of PA, vulnerable to attacks from behind.
- Wearing MA requires user to severely shave his/her tail, which makes it a bit unpopular.
- It takes about 20 minutes to put the thing on.
- Make sure you did all your bathroom stuff before engaging in power armor activity
- It takes 10 or so minutes to put on the undersuit for this thing.
- Unlike Terran Motorized Armor, Sollnettian Power Armor does not have explosive bolts for emergency evacuation, and thus freaked out much, much less trainees on training sessions.
