This.. artwork.. is stunning to me. For many reasons. I'll kick it off by saying this, wow.
-About the art-
I know Pashmenia is known for self destruction. Since it cannot die, it takes advantage by hurting itself to ironically relive the pain it suffers. One notable example would be the whole shooting itself in the face multiple times. It goes to many extremes aside from physical damage, in fact, I think it undergoes emotional stress far more, and in many different ways.
Making up imaginary friends for being so lonely was one of the ways Pashmenia coped with it's problems. In order to keep itself from going mad, it pretended. It's not like it had a choice to go out and make friends. It was stuck inside this house, with a very small amount of other creatures. It didn't help any that Pashmenia is immensely shy and sudden with its actions. It does have it's reasons though, being alone for such a long time can cause something to go a little, often into itself with thought. Doesn't mean it doesn't want friends, it's difficult at the start as far as I know. Maybe, one of the big things that Pashmenia wants (speaking canon) is just someone. But in the end, it's slim that that would happen. The opportunities aren't there,
So, I've seen Pashmenia shoot itself with joy, bite a live animal, played a somewhat depressing game of tea, and tear the skin off it's scalp. This are all the extremes I've seen of the year Pashmenia do. However there was always one that stood out to me because it was so different.
The Snuggies piece (have I talked about this one enough). In which Pashmenia breaks that wall of saddness and we finally see a genuinely happy face. Free of pain, suffering, and stress. It's like the weight of all the problems is suddenly lifted in the picture. It looks as though it is just really trying to curl up before finally relaxing in this man's arms. This was an extreme I never have seen before, and it just made Pashmenia more of a lifelike character to me.
Now this extreme, it caught my eye near immediately. I would never has thought to see Pashmenia do this, I didn't even think it was capable of it. Pashmenia.. is crying? It can do so many things to remedy it's pain. It suffers so much yet always found out an easier way to deal with it. But in this situation, whatever it may be, physical harm or a journey into the mind could not help.
Something broke this bird's heart. My guesses are out there, it did something wrong, something ran away from it, or maybe, it was just tired of all of this. All this loneliness and self harm. All the misery that acting destructive or productive won't cure. Going by the tied up heart, the feeling I'm assuming Pashmenia has was created after it tried really hard to do something but failed. Kind of like how someone would feel after they lose a pet and they desperately look for it before finally realizing it's gone. The facts hit home, and they hit hard. This is what I assume Pashmenia feels like.
The heart monitor behind it may represent when a heart goes out, but to me I see it as more a metaphor for giving up. Coupled with the words "I'm alone here and I'm mixed up" only makes me feel more like Pashmenia did indeed try something or the realism of it's problems are hitting home. Seeing how one of the sentences are repeated, only shows how extreme the feelings it has are.
The hands clenching also does mean quite a bit here. It's yet another signal to the power of it's feelings. This is one of those times where there is no right way to come out of this. In this scenario it will most likely get worse before it gets better.
And, the heart. Pashmenia's heart. It looks rather, bruised and a little cut up. However it still beats and keeps going, much like Pashmenia. And this only goes to show, no matter how destructive Pashmenia can get : It has feelings, but more importantly, a heart.
-Not about the art-
I hope this vent art helped you deal with whatever is ailing you. It must have been a hard drive for it to make you feel like drawing about it. I can only say I hope you feel better man. If it means anything, all of your art is great. I love to look at it all the time.

The pain of the heart is the most difficult to deal with, and the most painfull :/
To Mike:
I personally do not now how you and Patch are related (friends, family, etc) but i just wanted to say that Mike, your kind words, though they be directed for Patch, show a depth of character that is oft unseen online, i want to thank you for taking the time to express yourself, and i hope that your words have a similar effect on everyone whome reads them. You have a way with words that i envy, thank you!
To Patch:

Thank you very much Stertheder, and apologizes for the late reply-
Mike really does have a way with words that shows alot of love~ Both of us however aren't related. We simply met each other on this site a year ago and became good friends, as well as with another group of peeps.

Mike man, I love you so much for the way you comment on my drawings. I know there is a alot of stuff going in and out of this lore, but you nail everything on the head so well and I really appreciate you for it
I've wanted to draw Pash crying for quit some time; this however isn't exactly the picture I had planned on being the first. ?Before I started on this site, Pash obviously used to be a rag-doll character with a bad temper. Later down the line though I saw how plain and simple that became, so it was time for me to invest thoughts into a different approach. This is all still leading to something however and I'm graciously happy that you stay so interested in this character like you do. It means so much to me.
The vent though did help a little. Some things had been happening to me the last week family-wise and it had completely sunken my self-esteem and mood. It had only gotten me thinking about someone that truly knew me on a personal human level that's unfortunately been deceased now for many years. The only family/relatives I can rely on nowadays misjudge me and make me feel like such an outcast.
