For these eggs are too small, indeed.
For the entire three or four days I've spent watching her she didn't let the egg bundle out of her mouth once. She's now out in the garden, tending her soon-to-be-hatched brood.
The submission data's missing, so for those curious, taken with a Sony Alpha A100 DSLR with standard zoom lens, external remote flash and a pair of +3 diopter filter lens. :)
