This is a sketch I did of the tiger character from my story Wrath. I didn't have a reference when I started it, so that's why it looks a little wonky. Also, I'm not really a drawer, so... >.<

~Awwo. ^^ I'm not that good at giving crit but I can try.
~This is pretty ok for a tiger without looking at something because even if you had left out the stripes and I looked at it right quick, I could tell it was one. Tigers feature not only the characteristic cheek ruff but a large nose and broad muzzle and a slightly profiled but more or less, flat head which you've conveyed here.
~The nose could be a little wider and the chin not as as pointy as shown. What gets me most though is the eye as it is pretty large for any cat if if you are attempting realism and is a bit "too" slanted. Its also leading very closely into the ear as if the ear were attached to the brow and the ear. Tiger cheek ruff is also not extremely wild and does have some clean form rather than just lots of zig-zag edges.
~As Infin said, try to look at photos whenever you can to reference where things go and how it forms because after a good while of practice, it gets much easier to draw things from memory without needing the reference anymore.
