things missing: color! how can anyone tell it's a red lion? and more bells, especially the tail

Things Tasho isn't doing: Color! This is a random sketch... not a commission On SL, this Miuku is not a `red` lion either. Tail when I saw it was buried under a prim. :P If he has a bell then I'll get it again next time or something if there is a next time.

Yeah.. strangely enough, Miuku actually commissioned me to color the piece, so I suppose that proves my comment incorrect.

Things shenryyr is missing: Etiquette, manners, and the ability to provide constructive criticism based on the obviously intended subject matter (seriously, it was SPELLED OUT in the OP). Things shenryyr is NOT missing: an enormous sense of entitlement, and unfounded confidence in his(her?) ability to decide for the artist, what the artist had in mind for the piece.

Additionally, who the hell are you to say what this artist, or any artist for that matter, should do with their work? Spottycat sketched the subject as he saw fit, beyond that, it doesn't matter if you can tell if its a red, blue, green, or effing plaid lion. This is all unless, of course, this was a commission for you? No? I didn't think it was, in fact, I thought it was a simple openCanvas (as the title stated) that was a "Completely unsolicited piece of artwork just because I [Spottycat] felt like drawing him. :3 " and not for you but for "An acquaintance of mine [Spottycat's] from SL named Miuku. He's a lion [non-descript, not 'red'] who works with sound and whatnot. Pretty nice guy.. so here's a picture. <3". Well, maybe you didn't read the OP, but either way, your sense of entitlement still irks the hell out of me, so quite honestly, I think you should piss off..

But I'm guessing you didn't know this and thought it was some kind of critique on his artwork.

Maybe you don't see the harm in what Shenryyr commented, but to me and my boyfriend whom you've replied to... Shen's comment came off as fairly rude because it did indeed come off as a critique on my artwork.

The real issue is how Shenryyr worded any of this. Things missing was: Shenryyr not paying enough attention and making a comment that sounded like criticism.

So yes. My boyfriend jumped his shit about it.

No. This isn't drama. This is you getting jumped by my boyfriend because the comment you posted sounded like critique... and as critique, it would be rude and offensive because it would show that you didn't even bother to read the post tag that says "Random Doodle" pretty plainly.

Not everything is `OMGDrAmA`. Sometimes it's just somebody getting his ass chewed, as seen above. If you don't bother to `think` before you post something that sounds like rude critique, you really shouldn't be surprised when you irritate someone.
