It's interesting how lately you seem to have moved to this 'blackline on grey, then add glow effects' motif in so much of your art. So many people don't spend enough time playing with grayscale and exploring light and shadow. They just move straight into full-color work because it's what they expect 'accomplished artists' to do, and then wonder why they have trouble getting lighting right. It doesn't seem to me that you need to practice that sort of thing, though, more like you are doing it because you enjoy the stark effect of glowing, brilliant-color against a dark greyscale character. It results in a rather nifty style/subgenre' of your work.

I would disagree. You do far better at color value and light use than most people.

That's no reason to not keep working at it if you want to improve though. :)
