Finally finished it... xD; It took me longer than it should have, but at least I got it done before the tenth, right? heh.
Anyway, this is FallenGreyWolf's new fursona with his mate. I think this is probably the first time either have been drawn, so I'm very happy to be able to do it for them.
Its been a long time since I took this much time shading something soft style... its not bad, but its not as good as I wish it could be. I rather struggle with it, actually. Just can't figure out how to get the soft shading to go where I want it to. :/ Ah well.

Oh, that looks really good! I really like your colouring in this one. You should shade more often xD And the wings look fantstic. And the partial background adds an almost photo like quality to the scene, almost like it's a good memory, or something. I dunno, but I like. x3 Well done!
;P I'm usually just too lazy to shade like this, because it takes me upwards of six hours or more to finish something like that.
I like partial backgrounds too... it puts more emphasis on the characters, while still giving you a sense of time and place. This is an example of a simple background, which are a free option on my commissions. Pretty easy to do, since the clouds and grass are brushes I have in photoshop.
