This is an abandoned house I first discovered a couple years back. Its located on a tiny single lane road outside a very busy town that gets barely any traffic. And in fact half the road is closed off to traffic The road dead ends at the entrance to a neighborhood with only a dozen or so houses and this is one of only two individual houses along that road. When I first found this house it hadn't been boarded up yet but had evidently been abandoned awhile as the roof was already badly rotted at the time. Oddly, despite high foot traffic on this road the house had very little vandalism. Only 1 window was broken and even the mossy welcome mat was still there. The house also has a very odd feature, an indoor swimming pool in the section with the collapsed roof. Yes, I wasn't kidding about that. Its a tiny, but otherwise pretty decent pool. Unfortunately the house was sealed up pretty good this time, so I couldn't get a picture of the pool. There's also a shack in the woods a good distance from the house with an old engine block, mattress springs and the hood to a 1950's era truck.
