Whit Leukos crux hand paws. the base is a pair of urethane coatedwork gloves, with closed cell poly foam to form the fingers. Hot glue was used.
Claws are just PETE plastic painted with Acrylic. These are only temporary until i can fashion less crude claws.
The sleeve is made of stretchy minky fur
Paw pads are made of acrylic painted Rawhide. soaked in water to soften, formed with pliars, and painted over. I used e6000 craft glue to attach them, and used several shoelaces to bind them tightly to the fingers and palms, for a FULL 24 hours before releasing laces.
The result...... extremely realistic palm and finger pads.
It's my personal preference of how i like pawpads to be.
After a bit of breaking in, they're extremely comfortable, similar to a catcher's mitt.
The sleeves have hidden nylon strap pulls, so i can easily pull them on.
the fingers are still rather dexterous to do basic things like holding cups, giving scritches. perhaps... i can even practice drawing with them
