Here is something I wanted to try. Now, before you make any assumptions I did NOT paint the neighborhood. The only thing I painted was the paw print, the destruction and people. The neighborhood is a heavily modified and filtered image from Google Earth I put together for this project.

Oh wow, for this being one of the first collage pictures, you did surprisingly well. This is actually one of the more convincing ones that I've seen like this. In the respect that the shadowing of the paw print really does give it a good sense of depth perception. And blends with the real environment pretty convincingly around all the edges. Where it's often blaringly obvious.

I think the people are by far the best touch here. Because to be honest, until I read your description, I actually, genuinely couldn't tell if they were real, aside from the absurdly convenient positioning if they were!
The paw print is not bad, but the people are the best aspect of this. And that must've taken a while, so hats off to you for that.
