Now this piece is a bit emotional for me. I been wanting something like this for the past five years. It makes me think of some happier times with a special person in my life. My grandfather was many things to me he was even one of the main reasons for my love of music as well as many other things. Every Sunday I remember going to his house for breakfast and he would always light up and want to sing. He loved to sing I have one cd that I own were he singing. There are lots of cassettes but my grandmother has those and is wanting to put them to cd I really need find time to do that. Well anyways the reason I been wanting this is 5 years ago he passed away on the morning of May 5th. I visited him often in the hospital but he was never awake during my visits so I would just read to him from my favorite book. May 5 is significant because May 8th is my birthday....and that is when they held the funeral. My birthdays are depressing to me mostly because of that. I lost someone dear to me I know he would have wanted me to celebrate and have fun because that is what he would have wanted. Though for the past five years I have really done nothing but remember those final days. So finally I got this picture done and hung out with some friends and played games all night. This picture is of what we used to do during happier times and ;iconmewzii: really captured it. I love how it came out and I hope yall like it to.
