The Phantom is one of my favorite Heroes from way back...What a shame he and his creator,Lee Falk are all but forgotten here in the states!

Well,I still hope to use this character under his true name,as I originally created him for a future A & Q story...The person who commissioned this page liked his appearance and requested that I use his likeness for the Cobra.

hm, Cannon? wasn't that a kind of private eye with the looks of a young Charles Bronson? I only had one episode of that one printed in some kind of magazine DC comics had published in germany in the early 80s...

ah. seems I confused some names here... ;) doesn't matter. what I thought you referred to was a series of a private eye as depicted by some film noir during 60's to 80's, drawn in a 'dirty' inking style with lots of black spaces and hard shadows. the main character always reminded me of Charles Bronson in terms of looks and role-play.

I've never seen Thunderbolt, not being interested much in superhero comics of that style at all, but I know Watchmen. :)
