Polar Bears are my fav bear but I think this is the first I've painted one. Drawn yes, painted no. I had fun with the blue and the yellows in this one. Hmm, really must paint more Polar Bears..... 9 x13 acrylic and pencil on illustration board.

The name just made me chuckle... cause that is what I thought I named my husky in Japanese, but not quite... cold (heartless) eyes was the name I gave him...

I do love this pic, even though my commenting was rather abstract...

I love how soft this is. Beautiful texture and colors and I love those eyes. And I really love the greyish blue mixed in with the cream/yellow for shading.

Love the yellows, gives the bear a more natural look, rather than if it was cleaned ammonium hydroxide and was sparkling white :3

Ah cool.. nice touch. I believe the stripes meant how much the blanket was worth in pelts back in the days of trades.
