It's not much of a consolation but it's hardly better here. I get ganged up a lot for being transgendered and being with someone just makes it even worse. I feel really sorry for sportspeople who come out as gay or bisexual, though, they go through so much shit. :c

I think a lot of furries are in Portland, or at least, so I'm told. I go to school up in Bangor and I feel like I'm tripping over furries most of the time. That is, compared to when I'm at home. Don't give up man, they are out there. Maine isn't all too terrible of a place. I can see it being narrow minded in the boondocks, but when you get to a little more populated areas, the people are more open.
