Over the weekend I got bored and decided to finish this project. So yah.... I made a cube...

Ass Lucky above me said, that's a tessarect shadow. That is to say, you know how you can draw the outline of a cube on paper? That's similar t what this is, except you represented a 3D "photograph" of a 4D image (whereas the drawing would be a 2D "photograph" of a 3D image). It's funny how I'm looking at a 2D photograph of a 3D photograph of a 4D object.
This is part of the reason I love math. xD
Tessarects are the 4D equivalent of cubes. Technically what you have will be more of a rectangular prism in 4D. Don't ask how I know. I'd either have to explain to you advanced math or how to picture a 4D object in actual 4D (which took me much practice) and unless you're in the Space land version of Flatland, a Hyperspacelander isn't gonna pluck yeh out of the 3D plane and show it to you from a 4D perspective.
:P

lol I laughed at that a little. I didn't realize the importance of this in math terms. When I made it I was thinking something like "Hey, I have these two cubes. Why not make something neat out of them?" I was thinking about making another even smaller object to fit inside the inner cube but never got around to it. I'm still happy with it and now I know more about the art of math
