Water tastes so good after a long day of moving furniture and things...
So last week I heard I could move to a better apartment with almost no change in rent and other payments, so I took the offer, and got ready to move. Since it was within the same building, I figured it shouldn't take more than two-three days, considering I did a similar move some time ago in just a day. It's just that I had already prepared everything to be moved in advance... It's surprising how much stuff there is even though it seems like there isn't that much at all. So in the end the move took ten days, and most of that was faffing about unplanned, and I didn't really bring the thing up since I thought it'd be over in a snap.
Well... it's done now, so I'll finally be able to consider starting doing commissions in a little bit, already some two weeks late of what I gave as estimates for some people on when I'd be able to open up and start doing them. Speaking of, I need to make sure I haven't forgotten about commissions from before, I have a feeling there were one or two that were proposed or in progress... I'll just rest for the rest of today, feeling quite fatigued.

Luckily(?) I moved within the building, so I didn't actually need to pack much at all, other than to stuff things to a wide box/bag and ferry it to the other apartment and put the things to their places.
Also thank goodness the bed just about fit inside the elevator, or the trek up to the fifth floor from the ground floor would've been absolute pain... It was hard enough before when it and everything else had to be moved via stairs to third floor due to lack of elevator at all, and that time I had my father to help, not a random neighbour who turned out to be barely strong enough to lift his side despite appearances... Thankfully the bed and a table were the only things I couldn't move by myself.
