Beautiful photo! The silhouettes against the water texture and color is stunning. And I'm glad the doggie and beaver didn't get beat up. ;o)

Thanks! Unfortunately they're not print-worthy but they're a hell of a lot of fun! Watching Gracie play tag with the B is a blast. I'll have all summer to get that "just right" stunning shot though. Came close today. Check out the previous three shots, they're much more photogenic. Two more to come and then I'm so crashed it's sick!

I must say, I'm more than a tad envious... the wild beaver is one of those critters I'd love to be able to see in the wild (best I've managed so far is the occasional muskrat).

Well I have yet to see a beaver, all I get to see is the tops of their heads!! I'm going to start watching for any queue's I can pic up as to when they're about to dive. I've come close to getting that fast-action tail-slap pic but so far have only got the splash. Hoping to develop a friendly or rather no-fear relationship with these critters. I'm VERY surprised that buddy let Gracie get that close!
