Because I'd received a fair amount of 'favorites' last week, I've decided to post a few more 'photo-ops' from the 2003 edition of "Pawpet Megaplex" (previously called "Furry Spring Break"; and later to be known as simply "Megaplex"), as my newest 'Throwback Thursday' submissions, during my latest 'sweeps month' (May, 2014)...
Of course, it wouldn't be called "Pawpet Megaplex" if this annual 'furry convention' (in Orlando, Florida) didn't have 'pawpets' (or furry puppets); hence, the "Funday Pawpet Show" (usually held on the Sunday afternoon, when most cons of this ilk end). And one of the most popular characters at said show was 'Poink' the ferret - a real scene-stealer in his own right.
I had the rare opportunity of taking his picture, as he poked his head from behind the puppet stage. I didn't realize how intricately designed 'Poink' was; When I took this 'photo-op' his eyes immediately glowed bright red! Having noticed this - after I'd wound my 35mm camera to the next exposure - I'd said, "That's odd... the eyes don't usually turn red until after the photo is developed!"
Anyway, watch for more 'photo-ops' from "Pawpet Megaplex 2003" later today...
BTW, for more information about the 2014 edition of "Megaplex", held this July in Orlando (with the theme being "The Candy Factory"), go to this link: https://my.megaplexcon.org/
