I'm not dead. I've been drawing a lot.
This pic spawned out of a joking conversation with a friend about her character acting as a cocktail waitress. She said it would never work because Kream would steal drinks all the time if it had something in it she liked.
And it was the first pic that kind of clicked in my head since I left and kind of had to be dawn. It also gave me a chance to try out a new shading style. I actually did really like cel shading it. And I was trying to do some other stuff that I may elaborate on in a later pic where it's more obvious!

I was actually just wondering the other day if you were still arting! Glad to see you're back, alive and well. I particularly like this piece for a lot of reasons, especially your new method of shading. I also adore the way you've drawn and shaded her hair; absolutely gorgeous! You're making quite a bit of progress. :3 I'll have to commission you sometime soon; currently holding onto my spare funds to replace my phone, but when that's out of the way, and you're open, I'll be nudging ya.

I am still arting! Quite a bit actually. I just wanted to spend some time drawing when I want, what I want, how I want. And it's kind of revived me a lot. Some days I just play games. Others I end up drawing for like 10-12 hours a day and not sleeping. I should try to stream more, but I'm working nights so I run really odd hours.
Also not entirely sure if I'm gonna open commissions again, right now I'm kind of favoring the idea of just doing requests with the option for tips. That way I can be picky and only draw what I'd enjoy and without feeling like I'm doing some great wrong if I decide to not draw for a week or two.
But we need to talk more! You should note me. Or shout on AIM or something. :P

I completely understand, and I do recall you feeling a bit burned out last we talked, so a break was certainly needed. And it's done you well! It's a pity that you don't intend to take commissions for a while, if ever, but whatever works for ya, you know? c:
