Ah, yeah, I can see it! I actually hadn't even thought of that :b although that's probably because I was following a really specific description for this monster, so I wasn't so much trying to draw inspiration from things, but just recreate what the art director had described to me :b
Doesn't mean all the species is that alignment. Drow are evil. Drizzt is a drow. Drizzt is not evil. Just an indicator of the typical species alignment(s). For some species, it makes sense, though - avatars of good, evil, law, chaos or whatever, angels, demons, etc. make sense as having pretty rigid alignments for their kind.
True, but even "almost all of a species are evil" bugs me, and I've never heard of a gnoll hero, for example.
But yes, for soulless creatures like undead, it makes sense that they are all evil. Also, it is also possible that all of one kind of creature is evil because they used to be something else; for example, devils that used to be mortals but sold their souls to devils, and then became devils because they were too powerful to be simply punished eternally.

Yea all i see is the hair i am sorry. i mean the Feet, hands, and everything else are much different.
zyra dosnt have raptor demon feet, and zyras hands are humanoid, where varyas are all over the place. not to mention varyas flesh is all tree like instead of human. Varyas hole lower half is like a tree with a battle skirt type thing. where zyra is like a where a tight sexy leggings.

Heh, yeah. The artist obviously has a decent amount of credit in the final product, hehe. Just this one more than the others was described to me in detail - some are pretty general, like, "big ice golem with hulking posture and one glowing eye" or "gorilla cat, gorilla arms, cat head body, long face, lynx ears, two manes on either side of body".
Condensed a little...
Medium size, female plant-demon humanoid, intelligent/cunning/arrogant-looking, hourglass female figure, very fast/agile/strong
Creature is primarily melee combat using body as weapon, fingers to bind/draw in targets, body covered in armoured leaves and deadly petals.
Hair should be sorta stiff spiky leaves/tendrils that have a hard helmet armour look that flow back and between her shoulders except a few that frame her face.
Eyes have armoured plant mask that fuses with face with roots.
Fingers have a vine look to them. Wrists should have petals that look like armour but are not sharp. All down outside of arm are dagger like petals.
Legs have layered armoured leaves going all around the legs that point up and out, and look like they could cut like blades. Feet with four thick thorny claw toes that look very powerful.

She gave me a reference for how the hair/hair colour should look and for the "dagger petals", as well as desired pink colour. On closer inspection, it appears the images she sent me actually WERE Zyra from LoL :b Just closeups of her hair, so I couldn't tell :b
