Longing for the Sky
As mentioned elsewhere, this silly wuffy does love to fly. He also really loves to eat. Unfortunately, the two are frequently mutually incompatible, especially with the size of the meals the wuff occasionally indulges in!
Vrghr recently commissioned
waffles85 to sketch, then color up one such occasion, complete with the silly wuff's rather creative solution to his problem.
In the first panel, we have your one-each silly wuff, resting on his VERY well-stuffed belly and looking longingly skyward, wishing he could gambol amongst the clouds that float so enticingly overhead.
In the second panel, you can tell by the wuffy's joyous expression just how happy he is with the solution he's come up with to his problem (Or perhaps he's just spotted a new buffet in town, or someone's picnic feast that he can drop in on?). It also gives a great excuse to further show off that big, round, well-filled belly to best advantage. *grins* Which isn't a bad thing either, in this wuff's book.
Not sure how those little balloons manage to suspend, let alone loft, all the weight of an over-filled wuffy. Must be some sort of "super helium" inside them. Or perhaps its just the added lift of a light heart and bubbly spirit that does it? Wuff does take himself lightly, after all! *smiles*
In any case, Waffles/Shottsy did a wonderful job on bringing this idea to life, and wuff loves the scenes here. Vrghr will definitely be thinking up even more ideas for her, for future commissions!

*chuckles* Well, perhaps not EVERYTHING.... when wuffy's tummy is rumbling and craving a thick burger, fries, and all the trimmin's, and balloon will add a festive note to the meal, but it's not exactly a satisfying main course. And then there's dessert.
Though there have definitely been occasions where Vrghr turned his tummy into a big, furry balloon with lots of air or helium. That was lots of fun! But still, a wuffy like Vrghr loves to eat, and air and other gasses just don't have the flavor of a big plate of spaghetti, or a steak, 2 inches thick, grilled to perfection, dripping with juice and garlic butter, and supporting a mound of sauteed mushrooms and a side of onion straws. YUM! *drools a little*

*bounces* Ah Ha! Another fur that likes to cook for their friends! Vargr LOVES doing that too! Just think of the mischief if both of us got into the kitchen together! *grin*
Of course, it would probably have to be an industrial-sized kitchen to fit both of us in there at the same time. *giggles* But what havoc we'd reap on the Furry population that wandered by, attracted by the aromas.
Might need to have them sign a waiver though; "Explosions from over-eating are not the responsibility of the management." Luckily, wuffy keeps LOTS of Fyreworks patch kits on hand, since wuff tends to need a lot of those himself. *chuckles*
