Quick sketch. Because I get this image in my head every time I listen to that song. But I'm usually driving and can't do anything about it, so last night I finally drew it.

I have no idea what it even sounds like if you try to play the whole thing (organ-like parts included) with only a piano. But that's what he's going to do. I'm willing to bet there's some level of alcohol involved here, but that probably affects his singing more than his playing.

Listening to the tune as I type this up. I'd never actually heard it before, but I'm diggin' it. :D
Same as before, I love the gritty-sketch style that this has. And hello scribble-hands. : 3
The more I see of this character the more I'd like to read whatever story he's in. :P
As a side note, you could've replaced the words with "It's nine o'clock on a Saturday, the regular crowd shuffles in, there's an old man sitting next to me, making love to his tonic and gin..." and I probably wouldn't liked it even more :,D

It's great, quite catchy~ I recommend pretty much anything by The Doors :D
Thanks! ^^ I've got a character profile written for him and lots of backstory stuff, but I'm unsure of what his story going forward will be just yet. A friend of mine has a roleplay in the works, and I'm thinking that might be just the place for him. But I do have a tiny non-sequitor segment typed up on my deviantart if you want to check it out- http://canis-ferox.deviantart.com/a.....-tea-451454823 I'm enjoying finally having some time to focus more on drawing/developing him, because he's a lot of fun to work with. :D The general positive reaction is really encouraging~
And that's funny, because I almost titled this Piano Man xD I ended up sticking with lyrics from the same song because both these bits of lyrics seem really relevant to him, but I definitely imagine him enjoying that one as well. I think I actually had a draft of something ages ago that had him playing it on a harmonica, haha.
