Probably wasn't the wisest idea to go shoe shopping in the face of an oncoming downpour, but Tina plans to be inside during the rough weather apparently. But, there's always room for a little side shopping--I'm sure nature can wait a few minutes.
Again, an element of a future story element is being set in motion. I leave it to readers of said future installments to trace one of them back to this page :)
The street shot was added right before inking as the medium shot initially used just didn't come out right. I also inserted some generic characters in the street scene so as not to make it look completely desolate. I don't actually have plans to develop any of them, and the skunk is the only one that isn't really based on any character I've seen before. They're just filler, folks. Between the last page and this one, it is safe to say that considerable chatter has taken place over several minutes of walking, between Tina and Sherryl. I didn't illustrate any of it because it would have inflated the page count without adding much.
Brush inked pencils processed with Micrografx Picture Publisher, panel 4 was digitally traced from pencils and characters inserted OpenCanvas-style. Project ID# 136 (Pg# 78)
