These pics were taken from a video at the How Weird Street Faire, by an unknown videographer. They represent a personal breakthrough for me. For most of my life, I've hated dancing. I was the guy hiding in the back of the banquet hall while everyone else was on the dance floor. Then came Burning Man, and even more importantly, the fandom and getting my fursuit. Something about being in the suit and hearing music, and I can't seem to stop moving. To me, it's a nearly miraculous transformation.
I dance regularly at our monthly Frolic party in SF, and I'm always at the dances at the cons. I've always admired the people that get up on stages and dance in front of the rest of the crowd. But I've always been afraid to join them. Until the day this video was taken. It started when  lunabellefox was placed on one of these big wooden cubes where go go dancers had been dancing. When I saw her rocking out, I decided if she could do it, so could I. So I jumped up on the other white cube, and....well, let loose. These are a few of the many pics and videos that were taken of that event. It was a momentous and transformative moment for me, personally. Wow.
