Had a bit of an odd question regarding additional characters. Say that I wanted the image to have two specific characters, but also include some background ones. For example, a character of mine tending to some customers in a store. Would the customers be considered additionals if they were grayed out like silhouettes?
Oh, this issue surfaced in some commissions already.
This is judged case by case, but usually I do not charge anything extra for gray silhouettes. "Bystanders" are usually considered part of a complex background rather than separate characters.
