I got a friend to do a first run at toony version of the primary characters in my story (artist not named at his request). I asked him to just go all '90s Disney on them. It's given me a great starting base to build from, but I don't think they're quite there yet - some of the proportions feel off (legs in relation to arms, for one). The direction I'm aiming for is a cross between Classic Disney and Anthro House styles.
