Bronze painting commission for 
greycait, a grey jaguar-king cheetah mix. This is probably a bit more detailed than my average bronze paintings will be, I was over halfway through the coloring when I started wondering why on earth it was taking so long and realized I was working at almost twice the size I'd meant to work at X3 Oh well! Also, it is painfully clear that I need to do some studies of how to paint clothing... I'll put it on my "to-learn" list along with such minor topics as perspective, architecture, scene composition... everything except cartoon animals, in fact ;P

Two names: Loomis and Nikolaides. They remain my saviors as I try to puzzle those out. Clothing is evil. Let's just cover ourselves in fur in real life... <3
Of course, we have it better than some cartoonists who are even more artistically challenged. The guy who draws "Pearls Before Swine..." "Why did I draw a car? I can't draw a car at all. The world's transportation needs to transition to something easier to draw, like giant balloons attached to people's heads. I can draw those."
Your stuff still looks cool, I'm trying to learn fur and facial expressions anyways, your two skill sets. Thanks for the inspiration!

Lol! Totally my reaction when I have to draw a car, too. I can, with enough careful, painstaking hours, copy a car exactly from a photograph and have it come out looking at least roughly reminiscent; but ask me to draw a car from my head and you get something most eight-year-olds would be ashamed of XD
