To my Hookah
By: Sorakirin
Oh you beautiful thing.
The object of my relief,
In my Senior year.
You never judge me,
When all my flaws are obvious.
You sit in silence,
A comforting force,
In my stressful life.
Lulling my pain away.
You gorgeous woman
With your silver curves,
Atop your sapphire base
With a hot coal on your head
You were ready to give me a gift,
Of a cool drag from your long hose.
When all was lost
You were there
Lifting me up when I was down.
You became more
Then just the “safer” alternative,
To smoking that I originally got you for.
You became a companion,
A wondrous lover,
And one of my closest confidants.
