dfljfjk I KNOW I replied to that one, gah! Silly noting system! *chews thoroughly upon it*
I most definitely have your addy now! I'll be sending the original to you ASAP. :] (Did you get my paypal addy hon?)
Also, in case the info was in the last note that didn't make it through: the original is 8 1/2 x 11

WAIT okay I figured it out. X_X *feels dumb*
I never got the e-mail that paypal is supposed to send.. but it did go through. XD;; I logged into Paypal and it said I did have it. I should probably stop keeping track of things like this with the e-mails.. I guess those by themselves must not be reliable. *blinks*
SO YEAH all is well. Thank you!! Sorry about that. ><

Eeee, I'm so glad you like it! ^__^ It was fun! It just.. took a lot more time than I thought it would. 8D;
WHOOPS did I not get back to you on that?? I'm sorry! Yes, I received the payment just fine, thank yous! And I got the e-mail too, I can't wait to be able to get started!! *flails excitedly* @__@

Really? *blinks a little* Well.. the original pieces would be 8 1/2 x 11 inches. I use a few different things, depending on the effect I am trying to achieve. I have brush pens (pigma), tech pens (also pigma), markers (prismacolor and copic), and soft-lead colored pencils (prismacolor). I also use white gel pens for really wet-looking / strong highlights and white markers for characters that have a whole mess of white on them. *grin*
So um.. May I ask, what do you think I should be charging? One of the main reasons I chose $55 was because it sounds like a number the average buyer could afford. I know not everyone makes enough money to purchase more expensive works, so I guess it seems like even someone who doesn't make a whole lot could purchase. :3
But, by all means, I'd still very much like to hear your opinion hon. <3

Ugh, I wish Norway wasn't lacking so severly in art supplies, I have to buy all my stuff from 'merica/UK and then pay loads for the shipping + taxes. Oh well, I think my next savings-project after this one is going towards art supplies
ANYWAY. Yes I do think you're undercharging, I don't know where you live (England, no?) so the prizes may fit you just fine, but for the amount of time you spend on your work + trad media how much you get paid "per hour"? It's really hard for an artist to work after that principle, but try and think how much you get out of this in comparison to how much time you spend on it
it's really nice of you to think of your commissioners, though :)
I'm very uncomfortable around money, and terrified for overcharging. I know different counties have different money situations, so living in Norway is thus a good and a bad thing; bad pay, but cheap art from others
I am probably the last person you should ask about what to charge, though. I was going to bid on some of the art in your journal, but didn't have heart to set a prize on it :( I hate money, I really do

*grins* You're one of the many individuals who guesses I live in England. ^_^ I actually live in the usa.. Florida. *eeps*
I'd love for you to own one of the pieces, actually!! That would make me happy. I haven't gotten a bid on any of them yet. I was offered a trade for The Offering of the Rose which I accepted. If none of the others get any bids, I'm going to make a journal entry, having to stick some really low prices on them.. I have a lot of art around here that needs to go, and I'm not sure how to get rid of them, and I can't really afford to give them away. >_<
Yes, I dislike the whole money thing.. but unfortunately I need it to pay bills and get food, and re-stock on art supplies, get gas, etc..

I would really, really love the Romantic Bird Guys, seriously. It's the only piece of furry art not commissioned by me I've ever wanted to own. I just love everything about it. You'll have to stick a prize on it yourself, though. Just don't go too low
I was so sure you and Hayly lived in the UK. WHAT!

Hayley lives in the UK! I have ... a LOT of friends that live in the UK. O.o I'm not sure how that happened.. *grin* I wish I did live there, so I could see them.. I wish I could see you, too!
Ahh, Romantic Bird Guys. *grin* I loved doing that one.. <3 Blue Jays and Sun Conures! *thinks, thinks* Um... is $50 too low? Or? *cowers* I'm not sure, see.. But, well, if you REALLY wish to give more for it, you can add in a tip or such. It would by all means not be necessary though!
*BIG HUGS!*

I'm one of those rare folk it seems, who likes both! See, they both have their advantages and disadvantages.
When I first started using markers, I used prismacolor. They were the cheapest. I really like the shape of their broad nibs! Copics are a lot more expensive, but I love their brush tip a LOT! Trias have their advantages too (they have three tips instead of two!), but if I want any of them, I'll have to order them online somewhere because I can't find them around here anymore..
Really, it is about what you prefer and what colors you like. All brands offer different colors and different pros and cons.. My personal favorite nib is the broad, Prismacolor one, if I absolutely had to pick a favorite nib. But the brush nib on copics are really good for tight places.. Then again, Prisma has a small tip on the other end too. I'm indecisive! I own Prisma and a few Copics, and I use them together, in a layering way.

When I lived back in Illinois, there were no good art stores around, plus I had no place to stick my art supplies and work. Literally!
So I was sticking to digital, then. I love digital art! Well, I love both traditional and digital.. I've just been doing a lot of traditional lately, because.. I can! *grin* If it wasn't for the program called ArtRage, I would not have stuck with digital as long as I did, I think. (If you haven't heard of ArtRage, by all means google it, you'll be pleasantly surprised I imagine. Then again, your photoshop skills are to die for..)
How many Copics do you own right now, and what colors? I'm so curious!

I've heard of ArtRage, even downloaded a trial. But hell if I could figure it out. I gave up pretty fast, maybe I should try again. Tried painter too, fail fail fail
Lately I've been flexing my trad media muscles more and more. I simply love working with real media, especially pencils and markers. Microns are fine too, I guess, but my hands are manly big and too clumsy to make anything look good
Right now I have a 72 piece set, Nr. C for some reason

Wouldn't go less than $25... could go higher if you'd like. Wouldn't get as many people commissioning them, but as much detail as you have in it, i don't think you'd be cranking them out anyway. I am not an expert in this regard, just commissioned my first batch from artists now that I am getting support from my ex. Thank you for asking my opinion. :) *purrrrs softly* I think mine would be more like a Madonna/Whore... my week is divided. Momma Bear Mode when the kids are here, looking for naughty goodness on the prowl the other half of the week.... *rawrs*
I'm going to have to be another person who would absolutely love to commission one of these from you - this idea is amazing. If/when you open these up, I'll be watching!
I love the effect you did with the white gel pen especially. You did a great job is the composition, too!
dlghjpogijhet the whole thing is amazing. <3
