Last of 3 I'm posting this evening.
OMG I took such shitty photos tonight...the scans actually look really good in comparison, that's really bad. x'D I guess it's cause I'm getting tired; busy day which is now happily over!
I'm rather happy with this one! Normally bookmarks, on average, take about 30-40mins to do, but I spent almost 2hrs on this total. c_c; I definitely can see that making these new fanart pieces will not only be great practice, but a whole hell of a lot of fun too! Got at least 3 more fanart bookmarks on my mind as well; I know it's weird to be posting non-anthro work here, but I figure some people would still be interested. :)
Right now I'm still really attached to this one, but eventually I'll be selling the original if someone is interested. :3

it looks so good! I love the way you did the little 'chain' with the heartless and sora's name ^.^ That would be something I would defiantly pay for. But I know the feeling, sometimes you do stuff for people and you REALLY don't wanna let go of it.
Where do you get your materials for the bookmark, like the plastic slip and such, do you just laminate them? I'm trying to get into doing my own commissions and I am asking around for a little advice here and there *shot* And doing bookmarks would defiantly be on the list of things to do.

Well, I'll hopefully be making prints of this one and many more to come, but the original is staying in my hands for now, or until someone offers high! :C;; lol. As for materials - I self-laminate with a laminator machine I got at my local Walmart for $25! You can always get the nicer & thicker lamination done at at OfficeDepot or Kinkos, but I have neither close by. :( Hope that helps and best of luck!
Oh you can get a personal lamination maker for that cheap? Awesome, I might have to buy me one. How much to the lamination sheets cost?
Yeah, We got an office depot over here but it's way across down almost in the next county here. So having something like that would be nice.

:D Sure can! And they laminate perfectly fine too, it may not be nearly as thick as the OfficeDepot quality, but it does get the job done just as much yet far more convenient! If I recall correctly, they're about $10 for 25 or so sheets; I'll be going into town to buy more soon, so I can check back with you if I'm wrong.

I've been kinda looking around for help as far as doing commissions go because I've never tried it before but i need some extra cash and it seemed like the best way to do it.
Any tips you can give me on how to price things would be helpful. i don't wanna over price or something when something should be like 3 dollars when it's five...
