Very true at first, but we returned to the game after a long break, and they fixed A LOT of the game play problems, I still will take original FFXIV over ARR any day. I play MMO to play with others, and for story. ARR seems to not want to you play with others outside of dungeons, and in dungeons heavily limits the number of party members. I have played with our Perma party, permanent party, for about 6 or 7 years now, and ARR does not allow the full party to play together.
I sadly still miss unlimited spawning Dodos XD made for great fun.
