Boy, what I sight that can make and if the weather is just right on a beautiful summer night such as this, you can see (and make) your very own light show!
Heh so it being such a nice night out, little kody and his parents decided that a fun summertime activity they could do would be to have kody go and try to catch some butterfly's! He decided that after dinner he was going to grab the biggest jar from the Kitchen that he could find and he made it is mission to catch as many Firefly's as he could that night and from the looks of things not only is he doing pretty good so far at catching a BUNCH of 'em but he is pretty good and somehow losing his pants too X3
Still at this point he really could care less about anything because he is just in his "Element" right now as he reaches up for that next big batch O' fly's for his already impressive collection!
Oh awesome! Dang I just gotta say I just LOVE how this ended up! :D
As you can tell this is a picture that I had done by the ever talented and amazing
Kalida and I just gotta say that for this being the first ever full blown commission that I got from her, it really does look spectacular and I am really pleased with how it all turned out! But really with just the whole firefly catching activity that is a very old summer tradition that never did lose its lore, it just really makes me want to go chase some firefly's myself actually heh!
Still I just wanna say thanks to Kaldia again for drawing this up for me and if she ever posts it up on her commissions page you should all go check it out because it does look really fantastic!

Lol that is right heh, when kody is in a REALLY good mood he does not even need his pants as his all he needs is to be diaper proud exactly! :p
Still yeah I do think that kalida did a great job on the piece and I always have loved her work and being that this was the first BIG commission that I was able to actually get I really can't be anything more than thrilled with how it ended up and really I do think that it turned out fantastic!

Also oh I get ya, yeah what is nice about living right in the middle of the country (Missouri) is you do get really everything and that is NOT the fun part of it but you do get firefly's and I used to do that exact same thing (Minus the diaper of coarse when I was older) every summer and I will say it is always a very fun experience! ^^

Oh I am sure he will remember to do that...well eventually and his parents might have to end up doing it for him if he does not do it before long. As for his pants....well he might find those too...eventually X3

I do agree completely with you Fred, ever since the beginning kalida had done some amazing works or art that always do reflect her true talents and I must agree with you also that all of the pieces that she makes always come out spectacular, beautiful and lovely!!!
She really is one heck of a person and a very kind and thoughtful one at that so really for me I do think that this piece along with all of her others really do do exactly just that and are truly amazing! ;3
