Let me do some checking..not sure if they are allowed out of country because they aren't indigenous to NZ...that normally means you have to have a wildlife permit and all sorts of other government papers. And a vet capable of taking care of them.

I haven't heard back from the Skunk owners' list yet, other than one person who's really good at stating the bleeding obvious :P But her concern was the 16 hour flight the skunk would have to take, and if it would be allowed in the cabin rather than cargo, since it'll have to be fed n watered.
