
when feeding your leo, you want a strong food response.
a lively interested gecko, is one that will readily eat. the best way to do this is only provide them food every few days.
of course it would be more conveniant to just dump food in there, and refill it when its empty, but that is precisely what you dont want to do. mealworms are only as nutritious as the contents of their body. and if they sit in a dish for days, they will defecate it all out.
Ideally, feed them every 2-3 days (for adults. babies you want to feed daily)
give them whatever they will eat in one setting. and you want to see intense interest, like you see here. overfeeding can give you a obese reptile.
whatever they dont eat within a hour, put back.
gut loaded feed is necissary.
